The Protection DOES allow for the natural Patina to develop over time - it only prevents staining when used regularly.

  1. Apply Vachetta Protection - light coats on paper towel applicator. This protection product will protect veg tanned leathers and vachetta leathers from oil and water stains without darkening. Test first since leathers do vary in characteristics.

Steps To clean LV leather:

  1. For regular cleansing use Vachetta Cleanser and microfiber cloth ( included in kit). This cleanser is also ideal to clean the coated canvas.
  2. If very soiled - use Vachetta cleanser with miracle sponge. Be careful not to over scrub. Do not use the miracle sponge on the coated canvas.
  3. Vachetta protection will protect handles and all leather surfaces from oil and water stains. Protection should NOT be used on the coated canvas.
  4. NEW Vachetta Conditioner with Soil-Release can be used on either the vachetta leather or the coated canvas. Use after the protection.
